Why don't you use organic rice in all RICE DREAM Beverage varieties?
We use organically grown rice in the Original flavors of RICE DREAM Beverage and RICE DREAM Enriched Beverage. The availability of organic brown rice is limited, and we have been unable to count on a supply of organic brown rice that is steady enough to satisfy the requirements of all of our RICE DREAM Beverages and RICE DREAM Frozen Desserts.
What is the source of calcium in RICE DREAM Enriched Beverages?
Tricalcium phosphate is the source of calcium in RICE DREAM. This nutrient occurs naturally in phosphate rock and lime.
In the Plain RICE DREAM what are the sugars from?
From enzymatic digestion of rice starch, using natural enzymes.
Is RICE DREAM Beverage a gluten free product?
Yes. Although RICE DREAM Beverage is processed using a barley enzyme, the barley enzyme is discarded after use. The final beverage might contain a minute residual amount (less than .002%) of barley protein. For a list of gluten free products click here

Yes. RICE DREAM is made from only non-genetically modified brown rice.
What are the sizes of RICE DREAM's containers?
RICE DREAM is available in two types of containers, shelf stable and refrigerated cartons. Shelf Stable RICE DREAM is available in half gallon, quart and 8oz/3pk sizes. Refrigerated Rice is sold in half gallon and quart sizes. What's the difference between aseptic and refrigerated RICE DREAM?
Aseptic packaging allows RICE DREAM to stay fresh for up to a year unopened without the use of preservatives or refrigeration. Once opened, the product will stay fresh in the refrigerated for 7-10 days.
Unopened Refrigerated RICE DREAM stays fresh for approximately 45 days from the date of manufacture. Even though the packaging is different, the RICE DREAM in each is essentially the same.
Refrigerated RICE DREAM is available in milk-style cartons in the refrigerated dairy case of your health food store or supermarket. It has to be refrigerated at all times, has a shorter life span, and has to be used sooner than aseptically packaged RICE DREAM. However, once opened, each version will stay fresh in the refrigerator for 7 - 10 days.
